The French coronation sword Joyeuse, which was said to be the personal weapon of Emperor Charlemagne, was held by legend to contain part of the Spear of Destiny in its pommel.
This reproduction features a forged carbon-steel blade and cast hilt with antique gold plated finish. The wood plaque mount is in the shape of a quartered shield and includes mounting hardware.
