Pirate Sword1
This is certainly a talking point for anyone that lays eyes on it, it really does feel like an antique, with Magnoli Props expert ageing and attention to detail this pirate sword is a treasured item amongst my prop collection. Really fast shipping and well packaged - thank you so much for this much loved prop replica!..

This is a great replica that really looks aged. I especially like the scabbard.
The look of the blade an handle is accomplished by some black color/ink. This is the only thing that could be improved: The black color stains your hands and the clothes it touches. I haven't tried the prop in action yet, but I can imagine that this gets worse when your hands are wet/sweaty. One might argue that this "dirt" looks even more like a pirate but I think it makes handling the prop harder since you have to be careful when you transport it (it stained my white t-shirt).
My solution will be to cover the wooden handle in tape and at least spray the handle with matt transparent varnish.
Moreover, I really want to highlight the great service at Magnoli Props - their staff has been very helpful in answering my questions and handling issues with the transaction...

I can not recommend this sword more to fellow Jack impersonators. Its perfect in every way and with a little more weathering and finishing touches, is completely screen accurate. Overall length is 24 inches and width is 1 1/2 inches. Scabbard is made of actual tanned leather not some cheap ass product. It also can be bent on the end for true to life accuracy. The blade comes flat which is fine since i don\'t plan on actually being a rapey pillagy pirate anyways. I must thank you for creating such a perfect product. There are way too many sellers on eBay and such selling really piss poor quality products. Its nice to see a reasonably priced and screen accurate product on the market for once. You also shipped it from London and it got here a day earlier then expected. Meanwhile i ordered from a guy in Florida a week earlier and my envelope sized package hasn\'t even arrived yet. 10/10 will buy with you in the future. Cheers!..

I just received the sword. I can happily say that I'm very happy about the sword. I will recommend the sword to everyone who asks. I really hope that it will be good for my stagefighting purposes :)..

Fantastic quality, feels great in your hand, very solid. The sword looks very aged.
