It should be clear that this is Bilbo's account of his adventure and Frodo's account of his (with added brief material relating to Sam, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli). Thus it does not cover the adventures of Merry and Pippin in Fangorn, Rohan, and Gondor. Also it is faithful to the book narrative, not the PJ films: Crickhollow, Old Man Willow, the Barrow Wight, Tom Bombadil and Glorfindel and the Scouring of the Shire are all here. The influence of the films is seen in the artwork. It would be interesting to devise the accounts by Merry and Pippin and Aragorn in their own styles.Rating:  [5 of 5 Stars!]
