The quality of the Red Book exceeded my expectations. The leather embossing and tooling are exquisite and the aged quality comes through in the treatment of the pages. Probably most surprising to me is the text itself, sometimes quoting from Tolkien, sometimes not. I found the text to be very emotive, and the side notes to be humorous and moving. Very pleased with the attention to detail. Highly recommend!Rating:  [5 of 5 Stars!]
